Creating my first site.
We haven't done much yet, but I'm following along diligently. This site really will keep growing and get me in a better place to create new content.
Here's a second paragraph. P tags are block-level elements, so they automatically put a blank line above and below the tags. This is great cause it saves a little time in formatting. Paragraphs are the building block of any site, but too many paragraphs per page can be distracting.
This area of the homepage will contain special updates later, with relevant content and links to stories. Because this is the homepage, we want the most eye-catching content up front to hook our visitors into coming back. There are also technologies that will produce random or time-sensitive data, such as RSS feeds that we can use later.
